Will the balloons burst?What effect will milk, water, juice and coke have on the eggs? We made or own butter at home. One of our senior pupils added different flavours to his butter. Yummy! The juice had the worst effect, turning the egg shell black! A reminder to always brush your teeth! Milk + food colouring + liquid detergent = WOW! The fat in the milk and the liquid soap create a very cool reaction.
Ooblek – Very messy but fun. All you need is cornflour and water! Can it be both a liquid and a solid? Have a go and find out! What happens when you add baking powder to vinegar in a zip lock bag?? BANG! Grab some PVA glue and liquid detergent and make your own slime! It is great fun. We learned that slime and ooblek is a Non- Newtonian fluid. They are both a liquid and a solid!
