The children learned loads for earth day and had great fun making crowns from all things natural. We planted fruit and vegetables in our garden and some wildflowers for the busy bees.

Working Wellbeing ⭐️🌈

Working Wellbeing ⭐️🌈

The children have been learning lots of ways to manage the many different feelings that children feel and finding ways to make their heads happy.

1st and 2nd class practice Gratitude in their copies every morning. Junior infants write in their Happy Head copies every morning 🌈⭐️

Yoga is a firm favourite and the class is full of budding yogis 🧘‍♀️

The children listen to Mindfulness music and use breathing practices to help when they are feeling lots of hard feelings ⭐️

Our March Aistear theme was ‘The Veterinary Surgery’ 🐶🐰👨🏼‍⚕️👩🏼‍⚕️

In March, the children became experts in Animal Care, they performed surgeries, administered vaccines and took care of lots of poorly animals in Role Play and Small World. They built roads, bridges and buildings for easy access to the surgery in emergencies in Construction. In play dough, they created bandages, made medicines and worked on their Literacy and their Numeracy skills. The future animals are in great hands 👩🏼‍⚕️👨🏼‍⚕️⭐️
