Shrove Tuesday & Valentine’s Day
Thank you to those who could help with Pancake Tuesday. The children devoured their yummy pancakes. Well done to the Senior Room for making the pancake batter! We hope everyone had a lovely Valentine’s Day.

We all enjoyed some fun, stress free activities this week to raise awareness of the importance of taking care of our mental health. By prioritizing children’s mental health, we create a supportive environment for them to thrive and reach their full potential. Just take a look at how engaged and motivated the pupils were learning chess, making stop motion videos, creating with Lego and planting some vegetables. We can’t wait to see our Hyacinth Flowers grow and the roots they will have! Children’s mental health is a vital aspect of their overall well-being
We had a lovely time visiting out local library to hear Aisling play the harp and tell us stories of old about the fairies in Ireland. The children in the Senior Room learned all about St. Brigid and made St Brigid’s Day crosses to hang up at home to bring good luck upon their families. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to Marie’s poem about the Fairies that live in the library and who only come out at night when no one is around!!
We will be holding our annual Open Day next Monday 15th January. All Welcome.
Thank you to everyone for making today very special. The children were fantastic in their acts – The Junior Room gave a great rendition of “T’was the Night Before Christmas” and the Senior Room put on a great production of “Cinders”. We then enjoyed a lovely visit from Santa. What a great surprise!! The children were amazing and we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
This month has been very busy with visits to the Community Care for Carol Singing, visits to the library in Bunclody for writing workshops, celebrating Christmas Jumper day in aid of Lauralynn and much much more!!!
